Does your teen need
They make hasty, poorly-considered decisions and need to have better judgment.
They’re being bullied at school – or they’re the one doing the bullying. They don’t get enough exercise or need to lose weight.
They have low self-esteem and seem to be down all the time. They give up when things get difficult and fail to meet their goals.
Raising a teenager requires persistence & patience
It can test your sanity even at the best of times. Yet, you want the best for your teenager. You want them to have the tools they need to succeed now and later in life – and you’d like that to happen without having to pull out all your hair in the process. Getting them to do anything you want them to do can feel utterly impossible, and you’re not sure where to start.
Studying martial arts helps kids learn how to overcome their problems and learn important lessons – the kind of lessons that will follow them to your home, to the classroom, and for the rest of their lives.
your teen will grow with every class!
Teenagers who study martial arts learn the benefits of self-control and discipline with every lesson. Our classes emphasize core values like discipline, respect, and persistence. Students learn that the way they treat others – in and out of the dojo – reflects on them as people and affects their ability to achieve their goals.
Walking into a Martial Arts/ Krav class can be immensely intimidating, down right scary....or so I thought. 360 Defense Middletown was extremely welcoming and non judge mental. Everyone is working at their own pace while encouraging one another to push a little further. I am so happy I decided to start my training at 360 under Kayla Stomberg. If you’re thinking about trying it look no further. 1 month in for me and could not be happier with my decision. Super clean, modern space, friendly people, REAL world self defense and a kick a__ trainer. Go now!
I can't recommend this program and Sensei Stomberg enough. Both my kids now 13 and 10 started training several years ago and they love it. Sensei and the other instructors always keep a great balance of technique, discipline, character building and physical fitness all while keeping it extremely positive and fun. I also started training at 360 in my 40's and love the adult program. It has provided me the right amount of physical challenge and fitness while showing me real techniques to defend myself. I only wish I started young like my kids but better late than never.
My daughter recently started classes at 360 and it is an incredible environment! Kayla is kind, patient, and the most amazing role model for young women!
